During orthodontic treatment it is necessary to avoid eating certain types of foods. Following the orthodontic diet chart given to you at your start appointment will help minimize breakage to you braces. Broken braces increase treatment time. If you should have something loose or broken, call us and let us know. If you have a sharp or poking wire, use your orthodontic wax or cut the wire with a nail clipper to eliminate the problem.
